What Will You Be Able to Do?
Adult Class
"On the battlefield where blades cross, there is hell. Step forward — and there you find
paradise."
What Can You Do through Ki-Aikido?
Even if someone attacks you, you can throw or restrain them in an instant — things that seem
astonishing
become simply natural.
You will also master true relaxation. When you achieve this, a natural, expansive, beautiful
movement
emerges — and you develop a supple, healthy body.
From that relaxed, natural state, you gain the focus and positive drive to adapt to any situation
and
give your full capacity without hesitation.
Your mind deepens into stillness, and you become able to perceive things calmly. As a result, your
judgement improves — and so does your action. When
your actions change, your circumstances and
life improve.
And at the furthest reach of this: you become someone who can joyfully experience, from within, that
your self-reliant self is the author of your own
life.
You build a self filled with unshakeable confidence.
Why Are You Interested in Ki-Aikido?
Thank you for your interest — it truly means a great deal.
In all the years people have come to our dojo, not one has said "I came because I want to be the
strongest." They go elsewhere for that.
Ki-Aikido will enable you to throw others — but the real question is: will it solve your challenges
and
change your life? If yes, then there is real m
eaning in learning it. If not, there
isn't.
People have come with many different purposes. Many want to maintain their health through something
they
can sustain with joy. Many want to strengthen
themselves mentally. But beneath that, most
people
are carrying something deeper — a real difficulty they haven't quite named.
Recently, many people come struggling with harassment or troubled relationships. Something prompted
them
to want more confidence in themselves — and t
hat drew them toward martial arts.
Among women, many carry a quiet struggle — perhaps unacknowledged even to themselves — a desire to
establish "a self that is not weak" in a society wh
ere men have historically held the dominant
position.
In truth, everyone is carrying some life challenge. That is simply human. There is nothing unusual
about
it.
The fact that you took action and came here is a meaningful first step.
Whatever your challenge, the one who resolves it is you. When you recognise your own challenge and
work
through it yourself, life becomes richer and m
ore deeply lived.
Ki-Aikido is martial practice — but its essential purpose is to help each person express 100% of the
capacity that is naturally within them.
And from the felt foundation of that expressed capacity, to face your life's challenges, overcome
them,
and walk a self-reliant life — that is what we
are here to fully support.
The key to resolving challenges is: to live your life more fully, in alignment with the principles
of
heaven and earth.
Ki-Aikido Is Right Here, Beside You
Our life is a life held and sustained by a great order of things.
Ki-Aikido is built upon that same order — the same principles of heaven and earth.
Throwing someone larger than yourself is nothing extraordinary.
We are, by nature, calm and relaxed — and from that state, we can feel our partner's energy and
respond
with ease in an instant. When it counts, we ca
n express 100% of our capacity.
When you express your natural capacity and guide your partner — anyone can do it, with ease. Relying
on
force creates collision — and against someone
stronger, you cannot win.
When you respect your partner, there is no clash of minds — and moving together naturally
occurs.
We are, at our core, lives that synchronise.
Moving together, your partner follows without stopping. Using this principle — which is woven into
the
nature of life itself — is the essence of leadi
ng.
That is why even a large foreigner can be thrown in the direction they are already going.
Train in Ki-Aikido. Learn to express 100% of your capacity — in any moment, in any situation.
In practice, you will be awakened to many principles at work — and those principles are working in
both
you and your partner.
Ki-Aikido aims to help you understand and respect the many workings — truths — that surround us, and
to
express the full power of the life you have be
en given.
It is the way of using both your own strength and your partner's — the way of coexistence.
Most importantly: your real life changes for the better. That is the meaning of learning
Ki-Aikido.
Everything You Learn in Practice, You Can Use in Daily Life — Immediately
"Budo" is, at its root, "stopping the spear."
To practice Aikido technique only as a weapon — fixated on strong versus weak, on fighting — is to
turn
away from the true martial path.
Respecting your partner. Not trying to control them. This is simply the way of being human in daily
life. It can be practiced in every arena: other sp
orts, social life, relationships, every
moment
of living.
When you discover through Aikido that you exist, held and sustained by the workings of heaven and
earth
— humbly align yourself with those workings, d
ay by day, and let that accumulate in real
life.
Real life is the true stage for refining yourself as a human being.
To live in alignment with the essence of life — to express your full capacity — to sustain both
yourself
and those around you: this is what matters mo
st.
When you feel, in reality, that your own presence brings safety and trust to those around you — as
the
lived expression of a life aligned with the wor
kings of heaven and earth —
you will know, with certainty, a confidence in yourself as a being held and protected by heaven and
earth.
"Walking the great road of heaven and earth." This is our posture in learning — our "gyo."
Here we see the foundation of a self-reliant way of life — one that faces heaven and earth, not
other
people.
Fearless, conviction-filled action that overcomes every difficulty — the moment will surely come
when
you joyfully experience that your self-reliant s
elf is the author of your own life.
Ki-Aikido is the learning of self-reliance. May you find within it the guiding principle of your
life.
Ki-Aikido Is Open to Everyone
All movement in Ki-Aikido is principled and natural — nothing is forced.
Regardless of age or physical condition, anyone can practice safely and sustainably.
In fact, movement that follows a natural rhythm and relies not at all on strength is especially
well-suited to those with less physical power — and to
women.
"Shin-shin Toitsu" — unity of mind and body — is not difficult at all. It is not about creating
something new from nothing. It is simply about drawing
out the self you already are — your
original nature.
Practice is a time of surprise and discovery — finding that you can do things you didn't expect,
discovering possibilities you didn't know you had.
For health, practicing in a state of relaxation improves circulation throughout the whole body,
activates every cell, and develops a supple vitality.
Those who practice Ki-Aikido radiate life — they are strikingly youthful, and it is common to be
astonished when you learn their age.
Learning and practicing the Ki Breathing Method — which anyone can do easily — deeply stills the
mind,
allowing you to perceive things calmly and beco
me far more resilient to stress.
You also begin to find a positive dimension in everything that happens around you. As a result, your
actions, your environment, and your life improve.
You will surely build a self filled with
unshakeable confidence.
Each person receives instruction tailored to their age, gender, and physical condition. Men and
women in
middle and later years can practice with comp
lete confidence.
Through Ki-Aikido, may you discover, express, and master every gift of talent that has been given to
you
— and step into all of life with that spirit.
Ki-Aikido — Truly Necessary for You
Thank you for reading this far with such sincere attention.
The fact that you have encountered Ki-Aikido is, truly, something like a miracle. In Japan, fewer
than
0.01% of people have even come across it.
And you have engaged with it this deeply, with real curiosity and care. I am genuinely grateful.
Thank
you.
You are someone special.
I myself am one of the rare direct students who spent more than 20 years at the side of Koichi Tohei
Sensei in his final years, learning in person as
he reached his ultimate destination.
I feel the weight of what has been entrusted to me. I want, above all, to understand Sensei's
teaching
rightly — and to convey, in a way people can gr
asp, the world he was inhabiting. To fulfil
that
intention together with him.
Because you have come this far — with genuine sincerity, connected by this encounter — I want to
give
you everything I have.
What I have received through Ki-Aikido is, in a sense, the wisdom of humanity. It is not something I
should keep to myself.
If you were to pass it by, I believe you would regret it.
You are the next person to receive this wisdom.
Please take it. Try it for yourself. I will transmit everything.
Through practice, I hope with all my heart that you will feel — powerfully, in your body — the joy
of
having been born into this life.
I am waiting for you, from the heart.
